Public Projects

The project consists of bituminous crack sealing, bituminous removals and replacement, aggregate courses, bituminous seal coating, and drainage repairs as well as all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements shown on the plans and as described herein.

Improvements include excavation for a retention/detention pond, including new 72” RCP storm sewer with end sections and cast-in-place energy dissipation structure. This project includes the removal/abandonment of +/-375 L.F. of 72” storm sewer. Excess material will be taken off site and spread per the off site grading exhibit.

Improvements include Pavement Removal, Manhole Adjustment, Colored PCC Pavement, & Class D Pavement Patches.

Renovation includes: includes fencing and pavement removals, earthwork, excavation, shaping and compaction, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving for sports courts (tennis/pickleball, basketball) and concrete walks, Sand Volleyball Court and Bocce Court surfaces renovation, assembly of 20’ x 40’ picnic shelter including picnic area concrete slab, shelter foundations, and installing site furnishings and landscape restoration and seeding.

Scope of work under this Contract includes minor site excavation, minor exterior work, demolition of interior, renovation of interiors.

Community College District No. 509, Elgin Community College (ECC), is accepting BIDS for annual low voltage A/V Wiring services for projects under $15,000 for the Technology Services Department (IT). This agreement will be for three (3) years with the option to renew for two (2) additional, one-year periods.

Work includes (but is not limited to) the following: The removal and upgrading of existing house, orchestra shell and cyclorama lighting and associated lighting controls.

Work includes (but is not limited to) the following: The separating of Buildings STU power metering from Building A by replacing the existing switchboard MSB-S with an 800 amp switchboard and powering the existing distribution panel DP-U from the new MSB-S switchboard.
